Israeli Olives

I recently picked out some fresh Israeli olives from a makolet here in the north. 🫒🫒

In the Torah, the olive is a symbol of holiness, beauty, rejuvenation and peace. The olive is also one of the seven sacred species (shivat minim) of Eretz Yisrael.

It’s been 10 weeks since my family and I crossed the ocean to return to the land from which our ancestors were expelled.

This place is magic — in a way that can only be felt once you’re here.

G-d and spirituality and life itself all seem to make sense to the mind, heart and soul. It’s like finally being plugged into the right kind of outlet.

To my brothers and sisters still chutz la’arertz—come visit us in Israel. Now is the time.

I still can’t believe I’m home. 🇮🇱💛🇮🇱
